Frequently Asked Questions
What is the ideal safari length?
The short answer is seven days. This will allow you to visit the most iconic locations and have enough time to enjoy them before getting too tired, but there is no one-size-fits all.
Is it possible to add cultural visits in the safari?
Yes. Cultural visits can be fitted within the safari itinerary quite easily and actually compliment the safari, providing a fuller experience.
Can we sleep within the National Parks?
Yes. There are campsites, Tented Lodges and hotels in the parks. There are also properties near the National Park entrances that offer great quality at better prices.
What is the minimun age for kids on safari?
There is none. All kids are welcome. In fact, some of the most focused and curious safari goers are kids.
When is the best time to visit?
Again, the short answer is June through August. This is also the most expensive time to safari. Most of the year is perfect and there is always something to see. Contact us for more info.
Are there many bugs in Tanzania?
There are more bugs in many places in the USA than you will encounter on safari. The bugs you will see are fascinating, but certainly not anything to be concerned about.
